Culinary Services Director

Mark joins the Mount Prospect team with over 30 years of experience in the kitchen. Born in West Germany on an Army base, Mark moved to England at 9 years old and then attended the University of London where he received a 4 year degree in culinary arts. He also holds a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from the University of Nottingham. He has played semi-professional football (or soccer as we call it) for various teams in England and Germany and still hopes to make it big one day. Mark later worked for Princess Cruises for over 16 years. After meeting his wife in St. Thomas, he moved to Chicago and worked at various hotels and senior living communities in the area. He recently returned from a 4-year stint in Florida and now finds himself at Mount Prospect Senior Living.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Daniela, his 3 kids and his granddaughter. Mark is thrilled to be welcomed into the community and says that good things are coming.
